Tank exhibition in Kyiv: Reality as a museum

While the war is still raging in the country, Ukraine is already exhibiting destroyed Russian equipment in the capital Kyiv.

In front of the St. Michael’s Monastery in Kyiv, several Russian war machines, which were destroyed, among other things, in the fighting for Hostomel, are presented.

Signs warn of angular parts, but that doesn’t stop visitors from climbing the war equipment.

Pedestrians stroll between the war equipment and get an impression.

Each exhibit is provided with an explanatory panel with background information on the events of the war.

Amidst the idyll of historical buildings, the war equipment seems out of place.

Banners have been attached to a sandbagged statue asking the world for help.
